Norwegian company Radionor Communications is set to open a representative office and service centre in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The ministry notes that Radionor has long been supplying the Defence Forces with communication technologies resistant to electronic warfare. This includes, in particular, communication modules for drones.
Raymond Söderholm, CEO of the Norwegian company, says he expects government support from Norway to enable Radionor to supply even more equipment to Ukraine. “Our goal is to enhance the capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles and help the Ukrainian army master these capabilities,” he says.
According to Deputy Minister of Defence Valerii Churkin, the opening of a local representative office will simplify maintenance of the company’s products, allow for professional training of Ukrainian military personnel, and ensure Radionor systems are used as effectively as possible.
